Tortara Terrific day out

On march 27th – 28th Tortara pod did a sleepover at school the sleepover was to help student prepare for our camp in term 4 . We started off the day by arriving at school and putting all  our gear to stay the night in our classrooms .We also used this time to put our food for the shared lunch into the learning center .   After that we were aloud to play with our friends and say goodbye to our parents . When the bell rang our teachers did the roll and then we met in the learning center . There we found out what car we would be going in to go do a walk in otaki  and who would be taking care of us for the day . I was with my friend Miller and some other  people . It felt like a very long drive to otaki but my dad grew up there so he told me where everything was ! We didn’t even need to use Google maps . When we got there the parents did a quick check to make sure everyone was here then we were off. The walk its self was amazing We saw some swans, ducks, geese  They were very big. a long the way Miller showed me popping flowers . Their white flower about medium  size and if you pinch the bottom they will pop out! We spent the rest of the walk finding the cool flowers . Mr hutchie showed us different type of plants that you can eat, like dill and these type of leafs that make tea . at the end of the walk I really had to go to toilet  however someone vandalized it so I had to wait till we got to the park.  7/10

At the park

When we got to the park the first thing I did was climb up the top of the slide .I know it sounds bad however I always go to this park and its like a tradition to go up this slide every time .But I  got a little bit told off but its alright I then went to play cricket with my mates and we did that for like 2o minutes but then I got bored so I went into the baby swing and i got stuck for the reaming 10 minutes . It was okay though The  park was very fun 8/10

The Pools

After the park we went to the Pools they were a bit shallow but it was fun we played in the pools for a good 2 hours well it felt like it me and my friend played on the inflatable boat and those horse things  .I was knocking people off and it was very funny we were there for  ages so I  out early and then everyone else did . After the pools we went back to school and set up the tents for the night . The day out was so fun and  the overnight stay was amazing . A big thanks to all the teacher and parents that helped and stayed  the night im sure heaps of people are ready for  camp in term 4 .

SLJ aquatic animal task

today I did this aquatic animal task . I had to made my own sea creature i made a more scary SpongeBob I call him scare bob he lives in the challenger zone of the sea witch is the deepest zone in the sea he is a scary sea sponge and he eats detritus, plankton, viruses and bacteria like normal sea sponge The scare bob is not like other sea sponges because he lives down so deap in the sea he hides in seaweed so when detritus, plankton, viruses and bacteria come past he can snatch them up. normal sea sponges like to live only about 5km down from the surfast so that’s what makes him different

This is how I made him first I watched all the video’s and then I made a copy of the template on google draw I then just started to make an color him when I was done I downloaded it and  done i loved this activity and would 100% do it again.
